In 1984, long before locally made artisanal products were as widely available as they are today, an Amish family began producing simple and fresh local cheeses at Farm Country Cheese House in Lakeview, Michigan. Over the years, these quality cheeses have become firmly established as staples throughout the region.
While now under new ownership, the same practices that forged Farm Country Cheese House's reputation are still part of their story today
