Black Trumpet mushrooms are also known as Horn of Plenty or "poor man's truffle". Black Trumpets have a natural, smoky aroma that makes them a natural to accompany beef or lamb. 

Dried Black Trumpet mushrooms reconstitute exceptionally well. Feature Black Trumpet mushrooms in a sauce served over meat or poultry. Their black color stands out especially well in risottos, omelet's, and quiche, and their aromatic and buttery flavor will delight even the most demanding palate.
